Legendary Rebirth Story
Jawa, a legendary motorcycle brand born in Prague in the 1920s, experienced a remarkable revival through Classic Legends' vision to resurrect this iconic marque for a new generation. With nearly a century of heritage and a devoted following, the brand carried rich associations with craftsmanship, adventure, and distinctive character. Classic Legends approached Elephant Design to help create a retail experience that would honour this inherited authenticity while positioning the brand for contemporary relevance. The challenge lay in balancing reverence for Jawa's storied past with the practical needs of a modern motorcycle retail environment. 
Bridging Eras Authentically
Jawa aspired to create a retail environment that would serve as both a homecoming for loyal enthusiasts and an introduction for modern riders discovering the legacy. The brand sought to establish spaces that would foster community among motorcycle enthusiasts while effectively showcasing their products. Rather than simply displaying motorcycles, Jawa wanted to tell their story through an immersive environment that would communicate the brand's values and history. The retail concept needed to bridge different eras—respecting tradition while embracing contemporary retail practices—creating a space where the legendary past could inspire the brand's future while facilitating genuine connections with both existing fans and new customers. The store concept revolves around a warm, cozy Book Café environment that invites lingering and social interaction. This unexpected approach transforms traditional motorcycle retail into a community space filled with curated 1970s paperbacks, collectibles, and comfortable seating anchored by an ample community table.

Gitam's refreshed identity blends two core concepts: 'Sanctuary of Knowledge,' creating a nurturing ecosystem, and 'Guiding Light,' positioning Gitam as a beacon of warmth and enlightenment."
The reimagined identity centers on two powerful metaphors: a bird symbolizing educational liberation, and a guiding hand representing supportive mentorship.
