Easing the Pains of Modern Travelers
VIP Industries' Aristocrat approached us with a requirement for a new line of luggage which was not only durable, but also would create an aspiration in the hard luggage category. We needed to create something unique to challenge the existing designs in the market, without pushing up the cost and keeping it as user friendly as possible.
Market research, including user surveys, revealed key pain points for travelers: susceptibility of luggage to damage during transit, cumbersome locking mechanisms, and a desire for increased packing capacity and premium features. Based on these findings, we developed a minimalist numerical locking system, strategically positioned for enhanced accessibility.
Elevating Travel Experiences
We also designed a light yet strong hard shell cover in bright, quirky and minimalistic colors, for the new age traveler. The bag details were rain & splash proof and smaller bags could now be nested inside each other for space saving transportation while they were being shipped.
Final product is a stylish, affordable with rich features and durable bag that is very light for its category!
