Their visionary Chairperson approached Elephant leadership specifically for their pioneering experience to initiate a comprehensive design sensitisation program for leadership teams across all key companies within the group.
Design-Driven Value Creation
The conglomerate aspired to embed design thinking as a fundamental business tool throughout its diverse operations. This vision was activated through the "Delight by Design" initiative, which systematically educated leadership teams on design's power as a problem-solving methodology and value creator. The workshops provided practical design tools and processes tailored to specific business contexts, enabling participants to generate differentiated business ideas while enhancing brand value across their international operations.
Customized Design Immersion
The initiative was structured as multiple workshops with similar domains grouped together, addressing approximately six teams per session. Each workshop was meticulously tailored to participants' specific sectors, featuring relevant case studies and familiar brand examples to create stronger connections. Sessions introduced fundamental design concepts, distinguishing good from bad design, exploring form-function-emotion relationships, and examining how experiences are influenced by brand values. An aesthetics module clarified notions of beauty, its variables, and cultural contexts, challenging preconceptions and broadening perspectives on design's omnipresence in business solutions.
