As part of the Design Alliance Asia consortium, we were invited to share some of our work at the Asian Convergence showcase at the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). We picked #paperboat #Bhoomi & #plezmo as they represent the spectrum our work. Culturally relevant ethnic drinks in a contemporary format, bringing back slow cooking with convenience and IoT play blocks that make coding fun for children.
Plezmo & Elephant on Yanko Design
We worked with Plezmo to figure out the solution to a pressing problem: How can we make the process of coding simpler, easier to access and more importantly - fun - for children? The answer helped us win the coveted 2022 iF Design award, where we succeeded in creating an ecosystem of Plezmo IoT blocks that let children build everything from fully functional train loops to the Iron Man hand repulsor.
Plezmo has also been awarded the NASSCOM Design4India Jury Choice Award & Golden Pin Design Mark 2021, Taiwan
